Selenicereus Megalanthus
I have had my yellow dragon fruit for nearly four months. It is finally starting to show growth. A new branch is budding out. However, there has been root development for the past month and a half. Both cuttings aren't showing evidence of growth.

Sleuthing
Hmm... I still dont know what type of hylocereus the plant is. I am now leaning towards Halley's Comet. It is possible that the plant is a white-fleshed variety, but white varieties seem to have about 3 to 5 spines per areole. My plant has 2 to 3. I have ruled out many of the polyrhisus varieties and yellow dragon fruits because the have little undulation and the areoles on some plants are too close together. Thus I do NOT think my plant is Cebra, Rosa, Orejona, Lisa, San Ignacio, Armando, Valdivia Roja, Yellow Selenicerus, or El Grullo. Other magenta varieties seem to have more undulation than my plant. Besides, a study I read stated that magenta varieties tend to have few to no spines. That rules out Sin Espina, Bien Hoa Red, and American Beauty. I have been looking online at different hylocereus varieties, and I believe my plant resembles the Halley's Comet more than other varieties.
Growing Graffiti
Wow! This plant has grown beyond my expectations. It is only 9-months old. I have it indoors for the winter, and it has about three areoles that are starting to grow new shoots. I hope the new shoots will grow downward because I dont want the plant to get much taller. Besides, to reach the light streaming through the window, the plant will have to grow in a downward direction.
Physical Graffiti Growth
Both Physical Graffiti plants are pushing new sprouts. The one pictured is the smaller plant. The large plant has about three teeny growths. It is still a challenge to get the limbs enough light so that they will thicken and not be spindly.

Mystery Dragon fruit
Well I have no idea what this is. Today I'm leaning towards hylocereus guatemalensis, I.e American Beauty or Bien Hoa Red.
Seedling Dragon Fruit
This seedling fruit survived in the winter. She is the only seedling left. I am not sure if it is red or white.
Physical Graffiti
This pitaya plant was the only piece of hylocereus that survived through the winter. On the spring, I found a 5- inch piece of physical graffiti still alive and trying to grow. I cut off the dead portion and put the cutting in a pot. It is growing nicely.
Delight Dragon fruit
The delight hylocereus is growing. The plant has been a slow grower thus far. I hope this last growth flush results in a long, strong, and healthy limb.

Delight Dragon fruit
The delight plant is finally growing. I put a trellis around it last week, so I can now accommodate long branches. The delight plant always seemed like a slow grower. I moved it to a sunnier spot and it's growing better. I hope it can put on a few long branches before winter sets in.
Tangerine tree
The citura tangerine tree looks like it is going to flower for the third time in five months. It it's growing steadily.

Citura Tangerine
The tangerine fruits are growing nicely. They are shiny and deep green. They are slightly smaller than a ping- pong ball. There are nine other teeny fruitlets from the most recent flush. Some are shiny and plumping. Others may yet abort. The whole tree looks healthy. I have discovered that I really don't need to water much, perhaps once biweekly.
